This U.S. 1918 Brass Knuckle Trench Knife is the best replica! It comes with the US 1918 detailing on the handle. There is a knuckle duster grip along with a skull crusher pommel. The handle is made of zinc alloy and looks absolutely stunning. The blade is made of stainless steel and has a double edge.
This U.S. 1918 Brass Knuckle Trench Knife is an all round combat tool. The overall length of the tool is measured as more than 11 inches. The blade is no more than 6 inches. This is an excellent reproduction of the original. It's solid, fits good in the hand and the weight to knife balance ratio is excellent. This it'self is a nice display item and a useful tool for actual self protection. If ever needed this will be a great combat tool when the SHTF day arrives. "You get what you pay for". Overall quality is OK. I wanted a sheath and knife I could carry. Sheaths and round guards on originals and replicas don't work for carrying. This knife can be carried because the guard is narrow on the sides, and the sheath is workable. However, the marking is bizarre. It is "1918 U.S." instead of "U.S. 1918". In addition, it's on the wrong side of the handle and upside down. And it's poorly done. The practical aspects of the knife are acceptable, especially for the price, but you'd think that a country we are supporting in their efforts to take over the world could get a few numbers and letters in the right place, in the right order and right side up.
