  • Drinking horns are attested from Viking Age Scandinavia. In the Prose Edda, Thor drank from a horn that unbeknown to him contained all the seas, and in the process he scared Loki and his kin by managing to drink a conspicuous part of its content. They also feature in Beowulf, and fittings for drinking horns were also found at the Sutton Hoo burial site. Many cultures throughout the years have used drinking horns for weddings, burials, other ceremonies, or just to have a good time.
Our Medieval Viking Drinking Horn has been carved into the front with great care. What is great about this item is that each one is unique. No two are alike because they are all 100% all natural. You will truly have a one of a kind horn. Included is a decorative horn stand to display your horn when you are not using it.

In order to do this you will melt the beeswax and pour it in the horn. Wait for it to dry and then pull it out.
