Front Firing Blank Gun.

Front Firing Blank gun refer to how the fumes are discharged from the barrel when the blank pistol or a revolver is fired. In Front firing blank gun, the barrel is open allowing all the gases & fumes to discharge through the front (barrel) of the gun. 


These blank guns have an orange / red plug almost ½” extending in front of the barrel. The plug adheres to the laws & regulations by ATF.
 

It is strongly advised not to remove the plug from blank guns.

Top Firing Blank Gun.

Top Firing Blank Gun refers to how the fumes are discharged when the blank pistol or a revolver is fired. In a top firing blank gun, the barrel is blocked and all the gases are discharged through the vent in top of the blank gun. These blank guns have a red / orange plug inside the barrel & only visible when looking inside the barrel. 

These type of blank guns are safe to use but always be cautious when firing one. It is recommended to shoot at full arm’s length for safety, from the fumes it vents out and should not be fired directly at anything.
